Co-chairs of BethesdaGreen’s Board of Directors – Montgomery Councilmember George Leventhal and Seth Goldman, the “TeaEO” of BethesdaGreen-based Honest Tea – joined incubator leader Dave Feldman in championing green entrepreneurs with space dedicated to growing sustainable businesses in this lower Montgomery County community.

Standard Solar Chief Executive Officer Tony Clifford congratulated these and other leaders, including BethesdaGreen Director and County Councilmember Roger Berliner, for their vision and commitment to making BethesdaGreen the state’s first green incubator.

“We are proud to have been an early sponsor and supporter of the Dave Feldman’s vision,” Clifford said. “We look forward to hosting seminars at BethesdaGreen to educate homeowners, businesses and government leaders throughout the region better manage their electricity costs with solar electric systems backed by applicable Federal and Montgomery County tax incentives and Maryland state solar grants.

“We fell in love with Standard Solar when they did a community presentation. They had already installed a photovoltaic system on one of our neighbor’s house and she was there to describe the process and how their system was doing. Standard Solar made the process easy - they guided us through all the applications and filled out much of the paperwork for us. We're very happy with our decision to go with solar power and Standard Solar.”
