Standard Solar Home Center (coming in 2008)

Soon you will be able to visit Standard Solar's "Solar Home Center," the only solar showroom on the East coast, where you will meet friendly Standard Solar staff.

You will see our line of solar PV modules (BP Solar and SunPower) and how they are attached to roofs of all kinds.

Solar installation videos and computer modeling for the economic analysis of a solar home system, or a commercial PV system, will be available.  You will see video graphics depicting how a solar system would look on your roof.

Interactive computer programs will outline reduction in greenhouse gasses based on system size. 

We will take out the mystery of kilowatts, kilowatt hours, AC & DC power, and how solar photovoltaics work.

Inverters, solar hot water systems, and battery back devices will also be on display, along with a full library of books and magazines on every aspect of solar design and installation.

We are committed to making solar standard, one roof at a time! 

The Standard Solar Home Center (SHC) will be open evenings and Saturdays, as well as during regular business hours.
